#14 Gifts for my first wife

Flowing on from the previous post from Christmas 2017, here is yet more evidence as to the efforts I go to in spoiling my first wife.

Christmas in the year 2017 was obviously such a joyous occasion for lil’ ol’ wifey aye.

The intricate curves and finely tuned creases are a piece of art.

This little gem of a gift goes back to Christmas in 2017.

My first wife had a whole week of having to look at it, touch it, shake it and try to peek through any wrapping joins in an effort to work out what it was.

Oh the temptation she must’ve felt.

I didn’t give in though, although I did give her a hint by telling her it was not a hat.

I’m sure that way back in 2016 my first wife was thinking the year couldn’t have got any better… and then she was gifted this lovely piece.

If you look closely, you’ll see that it even came with a concrete block and three rungs of a ladder.

The wrapping skills were non existent but it was still a gift for my first wife so it counts

These gifts are from back to October, 2016.

I tell ya what, my first wife must have cooked me a mean as feed or something for me to pull out these two uncharacteristic gifts.

First time we’d (sorry, she’d) ever had a new car

The wrapping leaves a lot to be desired and I certainly aren’t puffing my chest out in pride with that element of gifting but they were real life gifts so deserve to make the cut.

This one isn’t so much a gift, but a hunting ground for great presents.

I took this photo on my first wife’s birthday in February 2016.

I can’t recall what I actually gave her for her birthday but on this occasion, it’s the thought that counts, aye.

This sign jumped out at me like watching a soon to be released movie in a cinema that’s shown before the main film
