Update as to Marjana’s current situation…

Chemo portal insertion operation done yesterday.

Colonoscopy done this morning.

Results weren’t real awesome to be honest and as such my first wife is now in Sunnybank Private Hospital to have bowel surgery at 4pm.

The surgeon said things have lined up almost perfectly because we have top cover private health insurance she is able to get things done ASAP.

There are of course still out of pocket expenses of course but worth the years of investment now.

Quote of the day…

Surgeon: Your private health cover is now giving you a return for all your years of investment.

Me: Fuck man, its the investment in this sheila I married that I need the return on now.

Surgeon laughed like fuck as did the first wife when I told her.

Wow! What a response to last night’s cancer post with well over 200 comments, private messages and phone calls!

Cancer is fucked but the world is not, as evidenced by each and every comment… and the numerous cancer survival stories we received.

Both my first wife and I have cried more because of people’s good will and messages of support than we have over the fact Marjana actually has cancer. Seriously man, the love is overwhelming!

I won’t mention names because it’s not a competition but some have already gone above and beyond with your support. You’re a bunch of good cunts and I love you, man!

As a cop, I know better than most that life can change in the blink of an eye.

Less that two weeks ago our life was normal, even with me being the spastic I am.

On Tuesday however, this sheila who I fondly call my first wife was diagnosed with bowel cancer that is also in her liver.

Fuck cancer. Cancer is a cunt!

Most of you would know I love to take the piss out of my first wife and I’m not saying I will stop because it makes her laugh, like it does me.

But this week will be massive for us as we start a journey of chemo, procedures and heaps of other shit, that many others have battled too.

Seeing an oncologist tomorrow, chemo portal insertion on Tuesday and colonoscopy Wednesday so our lives will not be the same from now on I guess, but here’s to hoping.

I actually growled Marjana a couple days ago because I travelled the world over hunting for my perfect match and now find out she aint perfect because she’s got that cunty cancer disease… but I still love my first wife 😉❤
